US 119472 & 8968 – The Spoken Word I

Building relationships in business is an essential tool to success. Interaction is a key part of relationship building so as an organization we need to make sure that we are optimally represented in all aspects of business by our key players. The “Spoken Word I” workshop is aimed at staff representing the organization at a certain level, at some time this person is the “face” of the company, if it is representing the organization at a meeting, through a presentation or any other correspondence. This workshop will equip these key players with the ability and knowhow of appropriately contributing to formal meetings, capture and retain the interest of an audience, encouraging feedback from an audience as well as understanding the importance of using the correct choice of language structures.

US 119462 & 8974 – The Spoken Word II

This two day workshop focuses on enabling learners to participate effectively in oral/signed communication in most situations. This is done by focusing the attention on listening, calculating the correct response and then evaluating the dialog that took place. The Spoken Word II is aimed at 1st level management who has employees reporting to him/her. Responding critically yet sensitively as a listener/audience, analysing own responses to spoken/signed texts and adjusting these as required, using strategies to be an effective speaker/signer in sustained oral/signed interactions as well as evaluating spoken/signed discourse forms the core of this workshop.
