1.  US 13911 & 242812 – Team Member Inductions for Team Leaders

This two day workshop is pitched at NQF Level 3 and carries four credits. SMME entrepreneurs, managers of small business, first line managers, team leaders, and department heads will benefit from attending this workshop. Participants will learn how to: a) Prepare to receive a new member into the team; b) Introduce a new member of the team; c)Monitor team performance; d) Create awareness of life long learning opportunities in the workplace.

2.  US 13914 & 242816 – Conduct Formal Meetings

It is a fact that not all business persons are groomed into conducting a formal business meeting. This two day workshop at NQF Level 3 (four credits) is a 360 degree workshop taking the participant through the various stages of preparation in terms of the upcoming event and the documentation right through to following up on a completed meeting, e.g. minute distribution. Managers, team leaders, SMME entrepreneurs, and supervisors will benefit from learning how to deal with conflict and maximise participation in the meeting.

3.  US 13916 & 242820 – Record Keeping Essentials for Team Leaders

Every organisation is required to keep records and information. The question is, do all managers, department heads, supervisors and team leaders know which records to keep, how to apply the information from such records, and analyse their team against said records? This two day workshop at NQF Level 3 (4 credits) is aimed at empowering participants in terms of: a) Why organisations are required to keep records and information; b) The different types of records that is expected to be kept by the team leader/manager; c) How to record team performance against the agreed team targets; and d) How to record and analyse performance data.

4.  US 13917 & 242821 – The Role of the Team Leader

Also known as the “organisational puzzle”, this workshop is aimed at teaching the participants their role and level of accountability as a team leader within the bigger workplace environment. Participants will learn about setting performance standards and assessing the achievement of those standards. This two-day workshop is aimed at setting team objectives and monitoring objectives against timelines and benchmarks. The workshop is pitched at team leaders and first line managers and is presented on NQF Level 3 (6 credits).

5.  US 13944 & 242818 – The Management Functions of a Manager

This workshop is aimed at bringing union to the ultimate organisational objectives in that participants are explained the relationship between the type, ownership, and size of an organisation and its management structure. The advantages and disadvantages of the different management structures are explored and brought into context in terms of own area of responsibility. The interaction between a junior manager’s own responsibility and other functions are outlined. The workshop is on NQF Level 4 (five credits) over a two-day period.
